Caldecott Fostering is an outstanding provider of therapeutic foster care

Caldecott Fostering, part of the Caldecott Foundation charity, is based in Ashford, Kent and also serves the East Midlands. We provide vulnerable young people from across the UK with therapeutic foster families. We have been rated by Ofsted as “Outstanding”.

The ‘Caldecott Relational Model’ underpins our ethos, values and practice. Our model supports children and young people to feel safe through the development of nurturing, reparative relationships. Through the consistent application of our Relational Model across the entire organisation, we are able to offer our young people the experience of a secure base from which they can feel safe enough to address issues in their lives positively.

What is Caldecott’s Relational Model?

We provide a family-orientated, therapeutic not for profit fostering service to our foster parents and young people, delivered by a highly motivated staff team. We are proud of our organisation and our aspiration to provide care that impacts positively upon children and young people’s lives. We remain committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect the same from all our foster carers and others that we commission work from.

We are proud to deliver this service as a
“family that respects one another”
Positive relationships and a commitment to provide outstanding care for all of our children and young people, are at the heart of everything we do.
